The Impact of French on Career Planning
Salut! I am delighted to be taking part in this exciting workshop. From 1967-1973 I taught German, Spanish and Latin on the high school level before becoming a school counselor and graduate counselor educator. This rich and extensive experience as both a teacher and a counselor has provided me with a deep appreciation for the role of second language in educational and career planning. I hope to share some insights and strategies with you that will be helpful as you communicate with students & parents, school counselors, administrators and other members of the school community to promote the study of French language.
