Chers amis:

When Tant Qu’Elle Chante Elle Vit was first introduced in 2003 I had no idea what the impact would be on French classes. Today there is a team of French educators who write the lessons, and the Activity Books are co-published with Karen and Bill Traynor of Tralco-Lingo Fun in Hamilton Ontario Canada. We’ve grown from one (1) language unit to a total four (4), added a website and been incorporated into a non-profit charitable educational organization. My colleagues and I present professional development workshops for individual schools districts and at conferences in the United and Europe. Last fall my husband, James Malone, Ph.D., a former German and Latin teacher turned college counselor, joined the team and we spent two weeks visiting schools in northern and southern California. We presented Carole’s story to a whole new group of students, parents and teachers at Head Royce and Flintridge Prep Schools, and we met students in 20 or more individual classes. Much to my delight, the demand for content rich teaching materials, personal appearances and workshops is not diminishing even with the challenges some French programs and educators are facing.

The materials published by the Carole D. Fredericks Foundation fill a void, and we have much more work to do. Part of the mission of this organization is to promote the advantages of learning French and to offer excellent teaching materials at classroom-friendly prices. That is why I am asking for your help. The Carole D. Fredericks Foundation is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization that I hope you will consider supporting financially. A Google DONATE button has been added to this page. Your donation is tax deductible and the process is safe, secure and easy to use. With your support we, our incorporating directors, teachers and co-publisher can continue providing excellent services to students and educators. Your help is appreciated. Vous remercier.

Amitié,

Connie Fredericks-Malone
Director
