"Just when you thought educational materials on the life of music of Carole D. Fredericks could not get any better, out comes the Anniversary Edition of Tant qu'elle chante, elle vit! Now, not only can I use Carole's music with my beginning and intermediate French students, but I also can use it with my advanced-level students. The Anniversary Edition provides so many fun, exciting and instructional activities for the advanced levels that there is bound to be something to make every teacher and/or student happy! Plus for all those AP French teachers preparing their students for the new AP French Language and Culture Examination, the Anniversary Edition is the perfect tool for addressing the six examination themes."

Welcome to the 2011 Anniversary Edition of Tant Qu’Elle Chante Elle Vit, a collection of ‘best practices’ contributed by two veteran teachers. Master teachers, Nancy Gadbois and Anne Jensen have used the legacy of Carole Fredericks in their classrooms for many years.
The updated Activity Book builds on rich cultural content and groundbreaking concepts that have set the Tant Qu’Elle Chante Elle Vit unit apart since its introduction in 2003:
- the legacy of American chanteuse Carole Fredericks and the music group Fredericks Goldman Jones
- lyrics by Jean-Jacques Goldman
- authentic French-language popular songs and video-clips
- classroom tested lesson plans and related methodologies.
- lessons are designed to appeal to diverse learning styles, teach language skills and promote the study of francophone cultures.
New activities were added and many of the original song/video exercises were enhanced. The unit was expanded to reach Senior Secondary and College level students with the addition of 6 Thematic Lessons. Two new music video-clips were added to the DVD increasing the number of full length video-clips to 8. Tant Qu’Elle Chante Elle Vit was produced in cooperation with the American Association of Teachers of French (AATF), Tralco Lingo Fun and the Carole D. Fredericks Foundation.
